From our wine list: “The vineyard with the three great cherry trees, and with other fruit trees all around, almost produces its vines on its own. All the cultivators have to do is to enjoy the harvest. The flavour of its wine is typical of this area, robust and strong and lasting well. It reminds us of the smooth flight of the swallow towards the warmth, towards the ripeness of maturity, towards the heat of spices...”

A dark ruby red wine containing complex aromas, dominated by the fragrance of dark red fruits of the forest, with hints of plum, tobacco, cinnamon, black pepper and balsam. The taste of the wine confirms this impression of fruitiness: it is warm, full, deep and aromatic. A light hint of tannin completes the taste, which may soften during the process of maturation. This wine is even better after a few years. The wine comes from well-exposed old vines of Barbera grapes, aged for two years in big and medium sized oak barrels and then matured in the bottle for at least another two years.
