The people of Montale use their wine to make their ploughs go...” The Cortese vine has historically been linked with St Agatha Fossili, a village only a few miles from here. Our land provides a perfect soil and climate for the Cortese, allowing us to produce a wine of authentic high quality following the good old principles of low yield per plant.

The wine is straw yellow with hints of green. Initially it has a fruity aroma, with the fragrance of green apples, which changes over time as the wine matures into a more complex and slightly spicy smell, varying slightly according to the climatic conditions of each vintage. Its reliable alcoholic content and beautiful texture make this wine a good choice to go with hors d'oeuvres and first courses based on rice or pasta.

We recommend serving it at a temperature of about 10° C.
